Another really great early 19th century American Federal convex mirror. Spread eagle sitting atop a classic pedestal flanked by a scrolling leaf design. Ball decoration around the mirror all ending with an inverted acorn drop. This is a nice small size mirror that only measures 33" tall with a diameter of 18". Circa 1830 to 1840

Reverse painting on glass of a stylized small cottage nestled against to a calming stream surrounded by a green and gold egolamaise border atop the original mirrored glass below. Classical shaped column and ball Federal cornice caps off the top with reeded sides and solid knuckle base. Measures 24" x 15". Circa 1830
