AMERICAN SAMPLER. Very nice early 19th century American cross stitch on hand woven linen sampler. Featuring samples of the alphabet and a motif of flowers in mostly reds with colors of greens, blues and some white thru out. Mice small size with a framed dimension of 10" x 10" and the actual sampler measuring 7 x 7" square. This sampler is undated and unsigned. Condition is good with some discoloration on the linen background.
