KNITTY KNOTTY. Hard to find 19th century pine knitty knotty. Main shaft is shaped out of a single piece of wood with square ends in opposite directions and a single incised ring decoration in the center. Pegged to the ends are attached two extensions for winding yarn. Found in Kentucky. Measures 18" long with each extension at 14".
