TALL CASE CLOCK. Early 19th century American tall case country clock. Pine case with a single door, simple shaped base, and a bonnet of simple yet delicate scroll work topped by three brass finials. Nice face with a stylized original painting of a basket and a jug atop and sprigs of flowers on the four corners. Painted roman numerals around a convexed circular face center. Brass works and delicate metal hands. Dual weight mechanism. Measures 91" in height, 18" in width at the bonnet and a depth of 10". Circa 1820 to 1830.
