SMALL RAG RUG. Playful hand made rag rug in blues, reds, greens and salmon colors. Backside is secured with burlap. Either for a tabletop or chair seat as it measures only 15" in length and 11" in height.

PRAYER RUG. Nice Middle East "Turkman" woven  medium size rug in vibrant colors. Main field of red with geometrical designs of blues, blacks and whites. within the borders. Fringed on one end only. In excellent condition with no holes or signs of wear. Measures 46" in length with a width of 32".

AMERICAN SAMPLER. Exceptional American early 19th century sampler consisting of the alphabet, a "the world passes away" passage, and the name "Eliza L. Harding" with the date 1837. Plants, trees, and vases of flowers surround the verbage with a floral motif below. Bordering the entire sampler is a vine of strawberries. Nice vibrate color with some minor foxing. Measures 18.5" x 21.5" framed.

CHICKEN HOOKED RUG. Wonderful and rare mid to late 19th century hooked rug depicting folky, stylized images of chickens. Center image shows a chicken sitting on a nest while a playful border of other stylized chickens. An inner border of circular shapes. All in vibrant colors of blues, greens and purples & reds with off-whites creating the images of chickens all over. Backed is covered in a way surface to protect from unraveling. In excellent condition all over. Rug measures 2'2" x 26".
